Speculation, and not collecting is, I'm guessing, mostly to blame. My card is cheaper and I'd accept a lesser price too.

I liked this line a lot: It cost me $21 and change to win.
Not a bad price, albeit a little more than I would like to pay for a patch like this for a team that isn't the Pirates, but if I were to buy a random blaster at Target and pulled a 3 color patch numbered to 10 copies of a 5 time All-Star and MVP winner, I would be pretty happy.

^ I try to remember that too. While I might feel bad about spending $20 sometimes, I'd be pumped if I got that card in a blaster. The Lost Collectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07281282785351456790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2835850805517703121.post-60608150225386904732020-09-09T09:31:18.154-04:002020-09-09T09:31:18.154-04:00No idea about the highs and lows. The last thing I want to do is getting into bidding wars with other collectors. Congratulations on landing that three color patch of Cutch.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2835850805517703121.post-7805989094966204802020-09-09T08:11:12.236-04:002020-09-09T08:11:12.236-04:00I think that social media and the Blowout forums a...I think that social media and the Blowout forums are the biggest culprits, far too many new (or returning) collectors are living and dying by what others (often "influencers") are touting on those sites.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043468725408104535noreply@blogger.com
