2019 Prizm Player Break Results

I won two cases of Andrew McCutchen 2019 Prizm cards for roughly $3.  While I didn't score a ton of cards, I got more than enough value in the break to satisfy me.

All base cards went to a seperate auction, but I asked the breaker if I could get one base card from the break.  After verifying with the winner of all base cards, he agreed to send me one base card.

Below are the results
The big hit is the blue wave on the left. It's numbered to only 60 copies (more on that later).  I also got a base (pictured in middle) along with a red parallel (not numbered).

The main huge hit was the wave card due to it's low numbering.  But when I flipped it over to view the numbering, I was even more happy.

That my friends, is another Cutch22 for the collection.

I wasn't sure if I was going to chase the other parallels from this set since there is 27 (!!!!!!) to chase, but after getting it in my hand I can surely say I will go for it.

The following are the parallels I want to knock off my list with hopefully some help from you guys:
Red/White/Blue
Pink (retail only I believe)
Zebra /99
Lime Green Donuts /199
Orange Circle Donuts /150
Red Mojo /299
Blue Mojo /399
Burgundy Shimmer /25
Cosmic Haze
Carolina Blue

Looking at all those crazy parallel names, I really hope they make a Bacon Maple next year.  I would love a shiny brownish orange card.  Ooooh imagine if it's a scratch a sniff?  (I'm very hungry)

  1. That’s some Cutch, that Cutch22!

Maple parallels should only be for Blue Jays (and maybe players hailing from Canada, New Hampshire, or Vermont).

  2. I'm enjoying 2019 Panini Prizm quite a bit. I still don't know if I'm ambitious enough to build a master set or just buy a few more packs. I do have the McCutchen red mojo if you're interested, though.

  3. 27 parallels? Am I the only one who is blown away by this?

    1. 27 seems like a lot, but Topps flagship has quite a bit too.

Base, gold, black, blue, pink, independence, 150th anniversary, acetate, hmmmm....ok maybe 27 is a bit crazy.

    2. Lol. Don't worry... I'm just as annoyed with Topps and their excessive parallels as I am with Panini ;)
