It's official!
Gerrit Cole has been announced as the team's Opening Day starter. For the first time in 3 years I won't be going to see the Pirates on Opening Day, but.... I will be seeing game 2 of the 2017 season in my first trip to Fenway Park. I am pretty excited about that.

ReplyDeleteStill bummed he didn't sign with Yanks after they drafted him. Sigh.
I have less than 100 Cole cards. I wouldn't be surprised if he signs with the Yankees once he is a free agent.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of Museum Collection books too. It was always a little disappointing that they used plain swatches for such high end cards, but on the flip side that is probably the only way I was going to win the auction.
