Does anyone else still listen to movie soundtracks from 80s movies?
I'm not ashamed to say that the Transformers cartoon movie soundtrack along with the Karate Kid Soundtrack are two of my favorite albums ever made.
How about the Rocky soundtrack? Anyone listen to that?
The 80s had great soundtracks, but this post is all about the Karate Kid.
Those songs get me jacked up!!!
You're the best
around...
Nothing ever gonna keep you down
Ho Hum, it's another 1/1.
This cyan plate is from 2015 Bowman's Best.
It is my 3rd plate from 2015 Bowman Best.
All I need is the yellow.
I have a workout playlist entirely composed of 80's movie music that I bust out every now and then. Dare, You're the Best Around, Eye of the Tiger, Hearts on Fire, Footloose...you name it. Cheesy as those song were, they really get the blood pumping!
ReplyDeleteHell yes! Those songs are fantastic.
DeleteCongrats on the plate! As for 80s soundtracks, I still listen to the soundtracks for Ghostbusters and Goonies somewhat frequently. Gotta love mid 80s pop.
ReplyDeleteFun fact: "You're The Best" was sung by Joe "Bean" Esposito, also known for duetting with Donna Summer on "Heaven Knows", and whose son Mike had a cup of coffee with the Rockies. http://www.tradingcarddb.com/GalleryP.cfm/pid/8397/Mike-Esposito
ReplyDeleteCongrats on another 1/1!
ReplyDeleteGreat song, Growing up, I had the Rocky IV soundtrack that I played on the way to soccer games.
My personal favorites: Vision Quest, Rocky IV, The Lost Boys, Purple Rain, and The Goonies.
