Today we have another Falco Files segment.  For those that forget a Falco File is when a player replaces Andrew McCutchen (either by trade, jersey number, added to active roster after McCutchen left, etc.)

Cassie Scerbo will be today's subject.

Sometimes she is credited as Cassandra Scerbo

She changes her hair color almost as often as she changes the way she is credited.

One of her earliest roles she was a blonde "guardian angel" in which she died and had to make the most unpopular girl at school become prom queen.  The movie was Teen Spirit and it came out in 2011.

She has recently appeared in the Netflix original Horror Thriller, Truth or Dare

It follows the game we all played as kids, but brings it to epic levels.

Some of the things they have to do to "survive the game" are head turning.

Speaking of head turning...

One of her most memorable roles is playing the character Nova from the Sharknado franchise

If you watched all the Sharknado movies for reasons not just involving Ms. Scerbo I think we just became best friends.  I love those kinds of movies.

Of course seeing Cassie/Cassandra show up in leather bikinis helps

The Phillies have a minor league team in Clearwater called the Threshers.  A thresher is a type of shark.

Unfortunately as Cutch was beginning to enter his historically best month to hit, Cutch was injured and out for the season.

Halloween is just a few days away and while Cassie looks amazing dressed up as Wonder Woman she also looks great as a cheerleader which you can check her out on ABC's Grand Hotel.

She plays a recurring role as a Miami cheerleader, a role she is very used to from her days of Bring It On 2.

My favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be facing off against the winless Miami Dolphins.

Hunting for Some Glow

All month long I have been showing off pink baseball cards to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.  In addition to showing off those cards I have highlighted some of my favorite female celebrities.

1 in 8 women will be detected with breast cancer in their lifetime.  To put it into perspective, it is possible that 4 of the lovely ladies I show this month could be detected.

Betty Gilpin is today's subject.

I briefly mentioned her a few days ago when discussing her Glow costar, Alison Brie.

Betty looks so much more mature than her 5ft3 costar.

The 5ft7 blonde was set to star in the September thriller, The Hunt.  For political reasons the movie was pulled from being released just a few weeks prior to release date.

It is a shame that the movie got pulled because it is a Blumhouse production and I love their movies.

Always thrilling and suspenseful.

For now everyone can still enjoy her as the star on Glow

Each year I highlight 1 card that is pink (or shade of) that I want to add to my collection.  I got lucky last year when I said I wanted the 2018 Donruss Mother's Day Ribbon pink parallel of Cutch's Diamond Kings insert /25.  Eventually it popped up for sale and I showed it off this month here along with Caroline Vreeland.

More recently I had success making a trade with Nate for a top 5 wanted card in my collection when I got the 2014 Opening Day Photo Variant.

Now it's time to bring out the big gun.

My NUMBER 1 card I want to add to my collection is a 2013 Topps Chrome Pink Refractor numbered to 5.

Only 2 have sold of the possible 5.
ZERO have sold since October 2013.

I am putting a $200 bounty on this card.
HELP ME AQUIRE IT.

Welcome Home!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Visit the official site here.

Breast Cancer will be detected in one of eight women in the US each year.
It is the second leading cause of cancer death among women each year.
On average every 2 minutes a woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer and every 13 minutes one person will die from breast cancer.
There are currently 33 million breast cancer survivors in the USA.

It's important to support the research for cancer.  Breast Cancer is often associated with the color pink so I will be showing off some pink Cutch cards.

In addition, you can expect to see some boobs with each post.  Who doesn't love boobs?

So let's start with what we're hoping to save!

Emily Ratajkowski is the subject today.

With a last name that can earn some serious points on a Scrabble board, it is no wonder why some people may not have heard of her and those that do probably can't spell her name.

Her big break came in 2013 when she appeared as a model/dancer in the music video "Blurred White Lines" which was one of the top songs of that year.

It should be easy to figure out why it became popular.

She went on to become a Hollywood star and model.

She is often seen turning heads at sporting events around Hollywood including Dodgers games and Lakers games.

With the Dodgers getting eliminated by the Nationals she won't be attending any World Series games this year.

Sorry Dodgers fans.

Her acting may not be as good as her looks, but with looks that good, the standard is high

She appeared in a movie called Welcome Home

Cutch got a warm welcome home last year when as a member of the San Francisco Giants he returned to his former home, PNC Park.

In typical Cutch fashion, he laced a double down the left field line and threw a runner out at home.

Fans cheered for the former MVP as he got a standing ovation during every at bat.
