Let's Celebrate our Independence

The 4th of July is meant to celebrate our independence as a free country.

With all the flaws our country may have, let's celebrate the great things that our country has provided.

Leave a comment below why you love America.

  1. It's where I was born. "...sweet land of Liberty."

  2. I love America for its freedom and its ability to grow. We've gone from allowing only landowning men to vote to allowing all citizens 18 and over to vote. We've gone from slavery to freedom. We've gone from having LGBT+ in the closet hiding from the law to allowing everyone the same marriage rights.

Unfortunately, all of these rights are very much under attack in recent years, from a party which not only is actively rolling back freedoms, but worked with Vladimir Putin against our country, and literally attacked our own Capitol to try to end our democracy. I'm deeply afraid for what will happen in the near future.

Sorry for the rant, but you asked.

  3. I love this country because there is no other place on earth better.

  4. There is so much to love about this country. It's far from perfect, but nothing in life is perfect. Anyways... one of the big reasons I love this country is because it gave my grandparents an opportunity to work... which allowed them to provide for my parents... who provided for me.

P.S. That patch card is sweet!

  5. People all over the world still want to come live here because it's better than where they live. It is the greatest country on Earth.

  6. Because it's f*ucking awesome!
