Jingle Bell Rock

Merry Christmas Eve
The Pirates just traded their most recognizable player, Josh Bell, to the Washington Nationals.

Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is for the Pittsburgh Pirates not to be used as a farm system for the rest of baseball.

Love,
Brian

  1. The pirates are starting to sound like the Mariners, although in the Mariners case, they're only a farm system for the Yankees.

  3. Pretty sure I've asked Santa the same thing since the early 80's... only swapping your Pirates for my A's. Santa never came through for me. I hope he comes through for you. Merry Christmas.

  4. It really is tough watching the Pirate nowadays and seeing Bell traded doesn't help. I do hope they can be relevant again soon but it seems like a big ask right now.

  5. I was kind of hoping the Yankees rumors a week or two ago would lead to this deal, but alas, didn't happen. Must be very frustrating and hard to collect a team knowing that they will eventually trade their biggest stars.

  6. This one surprised me. I'm ok with it, but having two power lefties in the lineup back-to-back isn't normal these days, right?

  7. Nice card, not a nice trade. The Bucs are gonna miss Bell. IMO, you can't go by one rough season in 2020 - everything was backwards.

Hope you had a nice Christmas!
