I just got home from the Yankees sweeping the Red Sox. I am not a fan of either team, but when someone offers you free tickets for one of the best sports rivals it makes it hard to pass up.
I got to the game around 6pm for the 7:08 scheduled start time....
Unfortunately the looming dark skies and slight rain drops put the Sunday Game of the Week on hold until 8:15pm
Which is when I put my phone away to enjoy the Yankees (and their fans) humiliate David Price in Yankees Stadium (AGAIN!)
David Price gave up 9 hits, 2 walks, 7 runs in only 2 and 2/3 innings.
So to recap...
Free tickets for amazing seats = PRICE is RIGHT
David Price giving up a bunch of hits and runs if you root for the home team = Price is alright
This Andrew McCutchen, Jason Heyward, David Price triple auto I bought a few years ago = Price is Right!
It's 12:03am and I need to be up at 4am for work tomorrow (today)

ReplyDeleteGood morning! Sounds like good times. A game at Yankee Stadium is definitely on my bucket list. It'd be 10x cooler if they're playing the Red Sox... and 100x cooler if the Sox win.
