My 1st 2020 Sketch Card

As you all are probably aware, I enjoy getting different artists to draw Andrew McCutchen.

I hit up Phil Hassewer on Twitter and asked him to draw Cutch on an official 2020 Sketch Card.

I am very happy with how it turned out.

This is the 1st card I have received utilizing the 2020 Topps Card Stock for a sketch card.

  1. Very nice. If you don't mind me asking, about how much do you typically pay for a commissioned sketch card? I've been thinking about soliciting some myself and am curious how much I should expect to pay.

    1. Awesome sketch card. Love that he put it on a Topps card. I was curious about the commission fees as well.

    2. Depending on the artist, they can range from $70 to $200+

If you want a sketch card not on the official Topps, Leaf, Panini card stock prices can be cheaper. I like getting the artist proof cards though as the selected artist typically gets about 10 or so blank cards as part of his payment from the manufacturer. He/she then charges a commission rate and will draw them on the appropriate cardstock (if available).
