A Yummy 3 Course Meal

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Visit the official site here.

Breast Cancer will be detected in one of eight women in the US each year.

It is the second leading cause of cancer death among women each year.

On average every 2 minutes a woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer and every 13 minutes one person will die from breast cancer.

There are currently 33 million breast cancer survivors in the USA.

It's important to support the research for cancer.  Breast Cancer is often associated with the color pink so I will be showing off some pink Cutch cards.

In addition, you can expect to see some boobs with each post.  Who doesn't love boobs?

So let's start with what we're hoping to save!

A few people suggested Giada De Laurentiis when I initially posed the question for who should be included in this year's #SaveTheBoobies event.

I didn't know that there was a Hall of Fame for culinary, but Giada was in the second year class of the Culinary Hall of Fame.

Giada has had numerous Food Network cooking shows in her career

and even occasionally appears on the Today show.

As most chefs know you want to satisfy your customer with a 3 course meal.

As satisfying as the HOF chef is, this three relic Triple Combo card of the former San Francisco Giant and his team mates is way more satisfying to me.

I was hoping that Cutch would get some jersey relics with other Giants players of past and present like Buster Posey, Willie Mays, Madison Bumgarner, etc in Topps products.  Unfortunately to the best of my knowledge only a Posey/McCutchen dual booklet has been produced so far.

Hunter Pence and Johnny Cueto are certainly welcomed additions to the collection though thanks to Hits Memorabilia 2018 Accolades release.  The Cueto is a hat relic and the Pence is a Giants Jersey.
The back of the card reminds me of a placemat found at any of the many 24 hour New Jersey diners.

Happy Cooking!

The National League Wild Card game is tonight between the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs

  2. This is going to sound insane... but I'm actually more intrigued by this hitscards product than Giada.

    1. Hits Memorabilia makes awesome cards. Their backs are rather blah looking and they generally use the same image of player from the back or side over and over again. Even more so than Topps.

  3. When I'm watching Food Network Star and she's at her best, I use #GiadasCleavage on my tweets.

    Good job!
